Verbal Consent Script
Before a host can add anyone to their guest list, Liquid Scroll requires them to confirm they have that person’s permission to send a text invitation. Most hosts get this permission the natural way — a quick conversation, text, or phone call before they ever open the app. Below is the script we ask hosts to use (or adapt in their own words) when asking.
Sample script
The bracketed parts are filled in with the guest’s own name (and anyone else on the invite, like a plus-one or family members). What matters is that the host asks before sending, and says the invitation will arrive by text.
Why we ask for this
Every message our system sends goes to someone the host already knows personally, who has already said yes to hearing from them by text. When a host adds a guest, they attest they’ve had this conversation — that attestation, plus this script, is what stands behind every send.
