Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Liquid Scroll (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Liquid Scroll, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What Liquid Scroll is
Liquid Scroll lets you (the “host”) design an animated invitation card, build a guest list, and send each guest a personal invitation link by text message from our toll-free number. Guests open their link on this site; you can see when they do.
Your account
You need an account to use the service. Keep your password private: you’re responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
Credits & billing
- Creating an account, designing your card, and managing your guest list are free.
- Sending costs credits: 1 credit sends 1 text-message invitation. Credits are sold in packs, processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
- Credits never expire.
- If a send fails (for example, an undeliverable number), the credit is automatically returned to your balance.
- Want a refund on unused credits? Email support@liquidscroll.com within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund them.
- Prices may change; changes never affect credits you already own.
Acceptable use — this part matters
Liquid Scroll is for personal event invitations to people you actually know. When you add a guest you attest that you know them personally and have their permission to send them text messages about your event. You are responsible for that consent being real (as required by law, including the TCPA in the US).
- No purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party contact lists.
- No marketing, promotional, or commercial messaging.
- No unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or abusive content.
- Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP; we block further sends to anyone who has opted out, across all accounts.
We may remove content, refuse sends, or suspend accounts that break these rules — without refund where the violation is deliberate.
Your content
You own what you write on your card and your guest list. You give us the limited license we need to store it, render it for your guests, and deliver your messages. We use guest information only to provide the service — see our Privacy Policy.
Service & liability
We work hard to keep Liquid Scroll available and delivery reliable, but text delivery depends on carriers and other providers we don’t control, so the service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Ending things
You can stop using Liquid Scroll at any time; email us if you’d like your account and data deleted. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (liability limits, your responsibilities for past sends) survive termination.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we’ll note it on this page with a new “last updated” date; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
